Your KI has a date and time displayed on it when you open it up to the main screen. The time is in 24 hour format, and is based on Mountain Time in the USA. This is because the cavern is set in Eddy County, New Mexico. When the DRC found the KI devices and decided to use them, they first used the local 12-hour format, but soon realized that they were getting explorers from all over the world, so in the upgrade of the KI operating system, they recalibrated the date and time to the 24-hour format, using the local time zone.
This leads to a great deal of confusion because of all the time zones involved when a group of explorers meet. Even more confusion is added because KI time is subject to USA Daylight Savings Time, and other countries may or may not have similar arrangements.
This chart is meant to give you a general idea what the various times may mean for you. It does not contain conversions for regional DST, because that would require a program to run. If any country outside North America uses a 12 hour clock, you need only compare the 24 hour column in the KI time row to that of North American MST to see what the 12 hour equivalents are.
For now, I'm only listing Australia, Europe, and North America. More zones can be added if requested. For Australia, I'll only list Western and Eastern Standard times, since you pretty much have to be an Aussie to figure out the time zones in the middle of their country.
The darker shades of each color indicate a day change; for example, Monday 1800 KI time is Tuesday 0100 in the UK. Australian and New Zealand are on the other side of the International Date Line, so they are a day ahead automatically. In western Australia, Monday 0800 KI time is Tuesday 2200, and Monday 1100 KI time is Wednesday 0100, if I understand the mechanics correctly.
